Military Ammo Can Test

no bubbles = no leaks
now im out, to buy big military ammo boxes
its a nice box to seal a camcorder for underwater clips, with a dremel and a pcs of lexan or plexi
Holy fuck what a waste of water.
Yea but you forget air can move through smaller gaps than water. The test is more accurate when it is submerged and you watch for air leaks.
@ bigbattles: it’s all about real world Scenario testing, why would you fill it with water, dummy?
thats one way to do it man lol
It would be faster if you just fill the can with water, close lid, flip it up side down, let it sit and look for leaks.
i dont really know the storage temp, i just put them in my room and its about i guess 70 degrees
Need to discuss storage temp. If your ammo cans are stored (say in a garage) the temp change from the AM to the PM can cause the can to “burp” in or out air as the air temp changes. I use ammo cans in the garage/workshop for nuts and bolts and the Dallas temp change I can hear the cans burping on occasion.
not ok, cuz 90% of bullets contain lead, lead can kill you!
Good idea to test them. I have several plastic ammo cans from Cabelas. Sometimes I buy bulk ammo from them and it comes with a free plastic ammo can. I think I will try waterboarding one of them to see how it holds up!! LOL.
NU! LOL
NOU!!!!
no ugay, u ugly
ugay
I could put my jelly donuts inside there and they would stay fresh.
well i am glad i can help out a good friend
your other vid made me go out a buy a few more ammo cans xD
well i was going to use soothing salts but decided not to haha. yeah i make sure that when i cleaned the can with rem oil i really wiped down the inside and got most of it up.
yep did it with rem oil
What no bubble bath? HA HA you want to be careful about putting too much oil on the seals if youre going to keep rimfire ammo in it they dont have as tight a seal a centerfire ammo and tend to absorb oil
oil ur seal or lite bore butter 4 muzzel loaders or grese so it dont dry rot
i tested mine in my pool all work great.
haha yeah i should hehe. na but its the only bathroom in the house
Get out yo mommas bath room youngin !
