I bought this curling iron in the summer for a trip to Europe. It heats up instantly and does a fantastic job. Better than the one I’ve been using at home. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the tip where you put your finger when you are curling is so short I kept burning my fingers! If you concentrate on what you are doing you won’t have a problem! The heatproof case was also very handy as you didn’t have to wait for the iron to cool before packing it away. Also there were no switches to turn for the dual voltage….all you had to do was plug it in with a tip for the country you were in.

I am a huge fan of the mini hair straightener, so thought I’d add to my travel selection. The clamp was really weak and didn’t actually hold my hair in the iron and it kept slipping out. And since the surface area was so small I had a really hard time just manually wrapping my hair around it without the use of the clamp. I will admit that I am not a skilled hair do-er, so those of you who are more advanced curling iron users you may not have the same issue, but I found this little guy virtually unusable. The difficulty of use came no where close to compensating for the size difference between this and my regular curling iron, so I returned.

Compact and light weight. Good use if you have short hair and not a lot to cure. There is no dual voltage switch on this curling iron as seller stated. The plug imprinted 110V-220V only.
