    I was asking because electrical problems at industrial sites are a common cause of this. It can also be caused by faulty crowbar switches on power factor correction capacitors.

  • HDXFH:

    @Bobdog6t9 I think it is because the power company was Laying out new power cable down a street somewhere near here

  • HDXFH:

    @douro20 Nowhere near here

    @douro20 type I sockets are still way creepy scream faced :P north american wall outlets are pig snouts

  • Bobdog6t9:

    would everyone around the town have been using there a/c? maybe that could have caused a voltage drop

    @daewooparts
    They are called “Type I” sockets, and are codified in AS/NZS 3112. Chinese CPCS-CCC plugs are compatible, but only for up to 10A, and Argentinian IRAM 2073 is somewhat compatible but the line and neutral positions are reversed.

  • douro20:

    Is there a mine close to there?

  • HDXFH:

    @daewooparts LOL
