You shouldn’t put so much information about yourself on the internet. It’s not just you, a lot a people are having problems finding a job. Consider going to college, it will help you in the long run.
“Seeking an entry-level position where I can learn and grow in a career path.”
this is not a good mission statement. you need to make it much more specific – change it for each job you apply for to make sense with that company’s goals.
bullet out your responsibilities at each job, keep them more simple so you can explain them at the interview.
take some kind of class now to show that you’re furthering your experience while you’re not working….
Looks like a great resume but sometimes (especially in today’s economy) people aren’t looking to hire. Try marykay.com. You can be your own employer. A friend of mine works this way and she loves it. Give it a try!
Take out your objective unless you can make it more specific and give it a “wow” factor. A lot of people recommend not using them because too many people just use the generic statement. At the top of your resume list all of your applicable skills. It looks like you have skills in three different sections. List your office/administrative skills and computer skills together, using bulleted lists. Be specific with the programs and software that you are familiar with (like you did under computer skills). Then, list your work experiece (most recent first). Your resume should only be one page, if yours is more than that then you need to cut down on some of the job responsibilities that you list. You only need to list 3 or 4 main responsibilities in a bulleted format for each job (under the job name, title, and dates). Finally, the last thing that you list is your education.
I think that people are probably not willing to read your whole resume because it’s like a novel. Realize that most places will only spend 10-15 seconds looking at a resume (if that). Tidy it up and organize it a little better. Keep the information clear and concise. Make sure to purchase the special “resume” paper to give it a nice, professional touch. Good luck!
Where you have seeking employment information. You need to list the exact position that you are applying for. You are too generic in what you want. You also cannot use the same resume for every job. You need two or even three and create them to match up with the job you are applying for. Sometimes you may NOT use ALL of your employers. Also, shorten your wording of each job description. Say a lot using very few words. You want to make it appear that you had more responsibilities as you attained your employment. You don’t need to list the same duties you performed for every job!!! Your resume should be one page. The cover letter should be one page and you should NEVER send your resume without a cover letter attached. If you have Microsoft works. Go to the Tasks Launcher section under create documents and look for the samples of cover letters and resumes. You can actually use these formats and put your information on them and then print them out for your use.
It looks bad to have a job less than one year, It looks like you can’t keep one. Not to be mean, but that’s how they see it. When you find a job stay in it for a year, best if it’s 2-5 years. It shows that you’re good worker, and since you’re their that long it means your job performance is good. After 4 years, then you can look for a different job. That’s the time limit. It’ll look perfect because after 4 years, they expect you to leave to get a better job, by being promoted to a higher position.
So you can’t work too little(less than a year), or work to long more than 5 years. People move up the ladder.
Your resume and qualifications are most suitable for any type of office job. You should consider signing with a major employment headhunter/agency such as appleone.com or voit.com since they hold a virtual monopoly in the field of office jobs. Also check out http://www.indeed.com for university jobs.
Good luck!
